New Sony Vaio Laptops Review - Superb Powerful Features & Elegant Designs in a Notebook
Here’s the latest review for Sony Vaio laptops…
I always loved the Vaio laptop. If you own one, I am sure you can relate. I am a Sony Vaio fan, yeah, and it’s a prejudice for me to say all this so don’t be mad if you are a fan of another brand.
You see, I had an opportunity to buy and own one of these Sony-inspired notebook during my stint in one of the Telco companies here in Manila and I can say it has naughty features back then that can’t be beaten. Buying a Sony Vaio laptop is a bit pricy but it’s definitely worth the price you’ll pay for the long haul.
More than the sporty looks and elegant style, the Vaio is almost always advanced in the use of the latest chips, newest RAMs and the fastest hard drive that makes it one of the overkills in any batch release with other competing machines. Also, Sony never forgets to design their laptops with users’ comfort in mind so most of their laptops are lightweight using only the lightest materials possible in its chassis.
Now, the latest Sony Vaio Laptops (2008 series) have become more incredible gadgets than ever equipped with superb features that allow them to be used quite effortlessly. It has become a true workhorse that can handle workloads at incredible speed and agility even in subprime conditions. You can expect nothing short of excellent for this Sony new Vaio series.
The latest Vaio laptops have very neat designs and more often than not, weigh lighter than most notebooks out there. These new models of the Vaio notebooks are made in a way that it becomes easy to carry them from one place to another. The Vaio TZ series, for example, offers the lightest of them all at only 1.2 kgs and a whopping 11 hours of battery life!
And the colors, will WOW you! Their Vaio C series offers a wide range of colors for the trendy without compromising elegance and professionalism. The glossy outer finish suprisingly competes with new car finishes. It’s exciting to the owner much more so to the envious onlookers. The metallic strips of the inner and the sides add the professional element into the superficial.

The Vaio SZ series, on the other hand, offers an animalistic appeal to the powerful niche of the corporate marketplace. This series boast a synergy of elegant features with integrated advanced technologies. Its sleek and clean designs command power of execution and style. A must-carry for the savvy corporate honchos on the move.
With all that bravado, you will see that the Vaio is the only laptop in the market today that barks and bites. It’s outer features can compete with it’s inner core abilities. For example, the processors, RAM and hard drive are of the latest cuts as always. In some models, if you opted for a standalone graphics card, then you are in for a real treat. Input and outut devices are high-grade and compatible with almost any gadgets since it’s futureproof.
The Vaio notebook now boasts of longer battery life (thanks to Core 2 Duo processor inside) so you don’t have to worry and scramble for the electric plug in any tight situations. The screens are large with high resolutions and were made even impressive and shiny. It even comes now with a built in camera which Vaio aptly called Motion Eye.
The handsome DVD is an awesome superdrive which allows all sorts of entertainment sense from watching videos to listening to music to gaming. The keyboards remained backlit at most with some offering soft light features that enable users to type even in suboptimal lighting conditions. Connectivity is a breeze as the Vaio is equipped with the latest and the greatest technology on wireless communications today.
I can say that the overall quality of the Sony laptop is what makes it rank higher, almost consistently, among other genres and brands of laptops. This has been true for several years now and I guess the primary reason is two-fold – the combination of its catchy look and the unrelenting power inside each machine - that’s hard to be beaten. This remarkable feat is further evidenced by the very high resale marketability of the unit in case you ever get tired of it.
I can say that Sony Vaio has always carried for itself and its name, the ever present dominating fashion sense, which, for the sophisticated user, comes as a bonus rather than a feature. I always believe that Sony Vaio’s of tomorrow will continue to be enhanced and developed into a super laptop machine with sporty and elegant look you can’t help but whistle. This laptop review is a tribute to Sony’s best laptop.
Open your eyes to the new Sony Vaio. It’s worth the second look if you dont have one yet or you are looking to buy your own laptop. It’s the laptop for you and me. For more info, see Sony Website here.
