Newest Tag Heuer Luxury Watches Inspired by Top Auto Racing Circuits

It’s confirmed.  Luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced several latest models of its high-end Swiss watches inspired by Formula 1, GT racing and other automotive circuits.

First to be tapped is the TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 Grand Date Chronograph which is highly accurate to 1/10th of a second.  There’s also a special edition for Indy 500 which features a tachymeter that allows a wearer to determine the speed of a moving object based on the time it takes to cover a certain distance. And on top of that, a commemorative piece to last year’s FIA World Champion, Kimi Räikkönen, has been released as well.

If you are a Mercedez-Benz fan, you should see the Tag Heuer SLR Calibre S Laptimer.  It is the only one of the few pieces sold by the high end Swiss watch Company that is said to be accurate to 1/100th of a second.  As if that was not stellar at all, this timepiece is also capable of storing 20 laps and can quickly recall fastest lap time.

The Grand Carrera Calibre 6 RS Diamond Bezel Edition is finished with 68 diamonds on its bezel. There’s also the Grand Carrera Grande Date GMT Calibre 8 RS Diamond Bezel which shines with four more diamonds on the bezel. If you need to keep track of a second time zone, the GMT Calibre includes a second smaller dial that can handle that.
