Newest Games for Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS

3 New Titles from Game Maker Konami

* Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! for Wii continues the popular multi-ending “Survival Kids” series started three years for DS ago but adds Wii-wand and nunchuck chores for survival tasks such as carpentry, fishing and building fires. The release date is Sept. 23.

* Time Hollow for Nintendo DS invites players to become Ethan Kairos and solve a mystery — that of his missing family. The plot expands once Ethan finds a “hollow pen” that lets him wander through the past and present simultaneously. This too debuts Sept. 23.

* Elebits: The Adventures of Kai and Zero, another DS-only production, asks players to solve puzzles with the help of Elebits, mischievous beings with magical powers. The game includes head-to-head competition through the DS’s Wi-Fi connection with up to four players. Konami had announced a release date of Nov. 19, but now says not to expect this title until early next year.
Other Coming New Games for Wii

*  Pleasant Evil — a world with lots of zombies, but instead of shooting them in the head, you train them to do housework and such.

*  Dr. Shinbone’s Annoyathon — we admit we haven’t gotten past the title and the high concept that no mothers will like this game.

Call of Duty 5 to be Released on 6 Game Consoles by the end of this year

Activision announced that the next game in the popular first-person shooter series will launch on most popular gaming consoles like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PC, and it will be out before the end of this fiscal year during a conference call with investors this week.

Of course, since 5 won’t be developed by Infinity Ward, who produced the award-winning, critically acclaimed fourth game in the series, we can’t be sure that this year’s entry will be as good.

The fifth game in the series will not be produced anymore by Infinity Ward, the company that produced the award-winning and critically acclaimed Call of Duty 4 so this is something every Call of Duty fans have to watch out for.

What war or era will this new game cover? Will it spawned on the Call of Duty 4’s Modern Warfare genre or will be much more advanced? Will the 5th edition be better or worse? That’s the million dollar question my friend.

And that is something to keep us glued for the release this year.
