The demand for higher-capacity portable storage devices at both the consumer and corporate levels seems to be never ending. Thanks to internet where there is a growing number of users who are uploading and downloading huge volumes of digital content (porn or otherwise). (Ok don’t sulk. I have my share. I am sure you do as well.).

Going back to this baby disk with a smart attitude… [Read more →]

AMD Releases Today Its Newest Tri Core Processor Phenom X3 8750 CPU

AMD Phenom Tri Core CPUChip-maker AMD officially launched today in the waiting market their triple-core processor to be known as Phenom X3  with models 8750, the 8650 and the 8450 and with power levels ranging from 2.1 to 2.4 gigahertz.

You will remember that when AMD first introduced such plans to market tri-core processors late last year, reaction to the news was mixed. Some felt that AMD was simply planning to create an alibi on the partially-performing Phenom X4 quad-core processors as its triple-core products as if making lemonade from lemons when you think about it.

The strategy is seen as a diversion to increase AMD’s bottom line profits and mitigating yield loss on its other frontrunners. However, it is expected that [Read more →]

New Sony Vaio Laptops Review - Superb Powerful Features & Elegant Designs in a Notebook

Sony Vaio Laptop TZ SeriesHere’s the latest review for Sony Vaio laptops…

I always loved the Vaio laptop. If you own one, I am sure you can relate. I am a Sony Vaio fan, yeah, and it’s a prejudice for me to say all this so don’t be mad if you are a fan of another brand.

You see, I had an opportunity to buy and own one of these Sony-inspired notebook during my stint in one of the Telco companies here in Manila and I can say it has naughty features back then that can’t be beaten. Buying a Sony Vaio laptop is a bit pricy but it’s definitely worth the price you’ll pay for the long haul.

More than the sporty looks and elegant style, the Vaio is almost always advanced in the use of the latest chips, newest RAMs and the fastest hard drive that makes it one of the overkills in any batch release with other competing machines. Also, Sony never forgets to design their laptops with users’ comfort in mind so most of their laptops are lightweight using only the lightest materials possible in its chassis.

Now, the latest Sony Vaio Laptops (2008 series) have become more incredible gadgets than ever equipped with superb features that allow them to [Read more →]
